Profile Wrapping

Doors/Membrane Pressing Technology

Membrane Pressing Technology, curing with pressure and sometimes with heat, is the most
widely used procedure for sheet goods. Common applications involve high-pressure laminates, wood veneers, metal skins, and fiberglass panels bonded to a core of particleboard, medium-density fiberboard, honeycomb and inorganic composites.

Post Forming

Postforming high-pressure laminates are manufactured by combining decorative paper saturated in melamine resin with phenolic-impregnated kraft layers at pressures exceeding 1.000 psi
(6.895 kPa) and temperatures approaching 300F (150°C). The panels are trimmed to size and
the backs are sanded to facilitate bonding. The laminating process combines the durability of
melamine resins with the aesthetics of decorative papers. Typical postforming laminate is used
in applications where a rolled edge is desirable.

Window Frames

Window frames and doors made of solid wood are bonded together by PU based adhesives
that are available for the usage of both European and Asian Wood. These kind of adhesives can be formulated according to customer’s requirements as Water resistance D3 or D4 according to DIN/EN 204.
